This new project is part of DWS’s long-term development plan to gradually improve the woolen fiber supply chain in Vietnam. The dyeing factory is expected to become one of the most modern facilities in the industry. It will employ 90 personnels and have the capacity to produce seven tons of high-quality wool or dyed fibers per day. Additionally, the location of the dyeing factory in the Du Long Industrial Park will also benefit through renewable energy sources from abundant solar and wind power systems in the province.
As a leading producer of completely natural woolen fibers, Südwolle Group, the main owner of DWS Company, is a family business established in 1966, with production and warehouse facilities in 8 countries, including Vietnam. The group’s total capacity is 26,050 tons per year for long staple fibers and 6,000 tons per year for compressed fibers. With advanced management experience and expertise in the textile industry, the new dyeing and weaving factory project in the Du Long Industrial Zone promises to be a shining example of the development of the Textile and Garment industry in Vietnam.
