Phase 1 completed and operational since 2025

Previously, the Ninh Thuan Dyeing and Textile Factory project (“the Project”), invested by Ninh Thuan Dyeing and Textile Co., Ltd. – a member of Suedwolle Group – has been implemented at Du Long Industrial Park with a total investment of over USD 21 million. According to information announced at the inauguration in April 2025, the Project covers an area of 3.0 hectares with a registered capacity of 1,450 tons per year.

The operation of the factory is considered a significant step in expanding Suedwolle’s manufacturing presence in Vietnam. Prior to this, the Group had already operated a spinning facility in Da Lat and has been oriented towards building an integrated domestic supply chain to shorten delivery time and optimize production organization.

Phase 2 Expansion Project: Spinning Mill Development

According to information provided by the investor, Phase 2 of the Project is oriented towards investing in a high-tech spinning mill to further complete the in-depth production chain. In the textile and garment production structure, adding the spinning stage helps enhance raw material autonomy, reduce logistics costs between production stages, and increase domestic value-added.

Preliminary project highlights:

  • Estimated total investment: approximately USD 30 million (equivalent to around VND 786 billion)
  • Expected capacity: ~1,600 tons/year
  • Focus on advanced spinning technology, without dyeing operations
  • Optimized use of energy and resources
  • Compliance with traceability requirements from international brands

Following the effective operation of Phase 1, the continued expansion reflects a shift from standalone manufacturing to the development of a fully integrated value chain in the textile industry.

This direction also aligns with increasingly stringent requirements on environmental standards, traceability, and cost optimization within the global supply chain.

The production system at Suedwolle’s factory in Du Long Industrial Park meets European environmental standards.

Context of the Textile Industry and the Need for Supply Chain Expansion

In the context of Vietnam’s textile and garment industry reaching approximately USD 46 billion in export turnover in 2025, while the localization rate remains at only 51–52% (source: VOV), textile and dyeing projects are considered a critical link in completing the production chain and reducing dependence on imported raw materials.

The effective operation of the project at Du Long Industrial Park provides a solid foundation for the Phase 2 expansion plan, oriented toward developing a deeper value chain.

Opportunities for Supporting Industries

As Khanh Hoa is orienting its industrial development toward sustainability and selective FDI attraction, expansion projects like Suedwolle’s are seen as positive signals for the growth of supporting industries.

Khanh Hoa Strengthens Its Role in the Central Industrial Supply Chain

With advantages in seaports, transport infrastructure, and strategic connectivity, Khanh Hoa is gradually enhancing its role in the Central Vietnam industrial supply chain. Continuous investments in infrastructure—including seaports, airports, road networks, and the North–South railway—are creating favorable conditions for industrial development.

In this context, at Du Long Industrial Park, the development of in-depth projects not only improves production efficiency but also facilitates the formation of industry linkages, particularly in:

  • Raw material production
  • Logistics and warehousing
  • Supporting industries for the textile and garment sector
  • Environmental and energy solutions

Suedwolle Group’s continued expansion following Phase 1 not only reflects the project’s operational efficiency but also indicates a growing trend toward building localized value chains.

This is considered an important foundation for promoting supporting industries and strengthening production ecosystem linkages in Khanh Hoa.
